So What Is ReplyByTweet?
Very simply, it’s a service to make it easier to link your content (blog post, article, etc) with a tweet.
Why?
To make it easier, and more beneficial for you, to get people from your online content, discovered by SEO normally, to interact with you via Twitter, a platform:
- They are probably familiar with
- They probably have the app for
- They are probably are already logged into.
You could add comments to your site, but that entails the user having to registered, verify their email address, submit the comment, complete any CAPTCHAs, and so on – all just to say “Love the article – thank you”.
Which means comments are less likely to be submitted, and you can wave bye-bye to your chance to interact with your visitors and get them into your mailing list or sales pipeline.
Instead, with ReplyByTweet, the user reads the content, see a link saying something like “What do you think? Let me know”, which then links to a specific tweet where you are writing about the content. That then opens the Twitter app.
There, they’ll read replies by other people that they can also engage with. And as they probably already have a twitter account and the app installed, so there’s nothing in the way of them engaging with their reply.
You get the benefits of added engagement, added virality, and added exposure, which you wouldn’t get via a comment on your site that very few people will see.
